Beyond the Wound: Why Your Trauma is Simply 'Undigested Content' and How to Process It

The Ayurvedic Secret to Lasting Emotional Health

In the journey toward deep healing, it’s time to move past the idea of being a “patient.” As a creator of the EDHIR® process, we believe you are the healer within, ready to be awakened. This conviction is rooted in Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, and the EDHIR® process is designed to align with its core principles.

The Concept of Emotional ‘Ama’

In Ayurveda, anything you ingest—from food to emotional and mental experiences—is considered fuel for your mind and body. When an experience is not fully transformed or you choose not to deal with it, it is regarded as undigested content. This is what is pushed down into the subconscious, and it is known as Ama. Just as physical Ama creates disease in the body, emotional Ama creates disease in the mind, which can eventually manifest physically.

My work is a form of Sattvajaya Chikitsa (Mastery of the Mind), aiming to address this emotional Ama and bring the undigested material to the surface for conscious processing.

The Mind-Body Connection

You will never hear us treat the mind and body separately. A disease in the mind can lead to a disease in the body, and vice versa. The EDHIR® process is a powerful mind-body-soul practice that honors your entire being.

The goal is to awaken your Superconscious Mind (Sattva), allowing you to gain mastery of your mind and achieve a state of non-attachment. When you reach this state, you are no longer defined by your trauma story, leading to better decision-making and a profound knowledge of the inner self.

It’s time to stop letting undigested experiences dictate your life and start consciously digesting, healing, and transforming.
