When you nurture and heal your present self, you establish the fundamental unit needed for genuine health.
After years of healing and clinical work, the most precious realization I gained from my journey is the relationship I have with myself.Trauma is a disconnect or disassociation from the self.
My entire healing framework, the EDHIR® Process, was born out of the necessity to call those fragmented parts of myself home.
The essence of the EDHIR® process is:
1. Explore/Experience: Identify and locate the different versions of Self that are disconnected from one another.
2. Discover/Digest: Get to know all of those different versions of Self. Discovering them & digesting the emotions they bring.
3. Heal/Honor: Bring them into a safe, sacred space within My being and give them all they need—honoring each one.
4. Integrate: Bring these healed versions back into union.
5. Release/Re-pattern/Relate: Releasing the old pattern & story creates a new pathway & helps me learn to relate with all the integrated, healed versions of myself—an ongoing process.
As I did this work, I noticed a strong sense of self-confidence and self-acceptance developing. The doubt dissipated, and when decisions were made, there was no more second-guessing.
This continuous process of self-reunion led me to realize the most precious thing I've learned:
The absolute most important relationship we have is with ourselves.
You are with this particular self forever. When you fully accept and love yourself unconditionally, you build the most intimate and stable foundation possible. This strong foundation in body, mind, and heart makes it possible to unfold the joy that has been hidden behind your past experiences.
The truth is, when you nurture and heal this self, you establish the fundamental unit needed for genuine health.
Healing isn't just a personal victory; it's a foundation for all the joy and healthy connections that follow.
